The past year was marked, among other things, by the expansion of our preventive actions with business units. In addition to the 196 reports received last year, our oversight team also analyzed 252 calls for tenders.
In this report, we present several concrete examples of preventive interventions carried out by the OIG with project owners. As a new feature, we provide a situational overview of the milling and paving sector in Montréal, along with the continued analysis of certain key sectors, including snow removal, sidewalk reconstruction, and residual materials management. We also highlight our construction site monitoring activities, with particular attention paid to so-called “ghost” construction sites.
