Symposium

The Office of Inspector General, in collaboration with the Association of Inspectors General, held its symposium on September 22 and September 23, 2016.

The two days of the conference were respectively opened by speeches from the Mayor of Montréal, Denis Coderre, and by the Deputy Premier of Québec, Lise Thériault.

The symposium was an opportunity for participants from different backgrounds, including the municipal sector, to learn the added value of Inspectors General. Let us recall that Montréal is the first Canadian city to establish this type of office whereas there exists more than 250 of its kind in the United States.

The Inspector General of Montréal is proud of the success of the event which brought together more than 150 people to the Palais des congrès de Montréal.
